Someone should inform Donald Trump. "The Donald" seems to espouse racism we thought we had eliminated after the 2nd world war.

It amazes me how many people support this twit. His stance on Muslims, wanting to ban them from America is about as clever as Germany's ban on Jewish people. It won't finish well for anyone.

Personally I have no problems with Islam.  I have problems with Fundamentalist Muslims but I have problems with Fundamentalist anything.  And I definitely have problems with anyone trying to shove anything down my throat, especially religion. Don't tell me who I can pray to.


Also imagine that, I'm not a follower of the great 3 religions. I haven't been a Christian since the age of 6, my mom isn't Jewish and I've never converted to Islam, but if I had to choose out of the 3 I would probably choose Islam.    However often I'm more caring about people then those who found or have religion. Imagine what that says about me. I'm not nice to others because Jesus tells me to, I'm nice to others because I believe in being nice!

Syrians would rather stay near their homes!

It's amusing me how much the Americans are so Anti-Syrian refugees, but what they are failing to realize is that most Syrians don't want to come to America. They would rather stay in the region, in the mIddle east, or even north Africa, then Europe.  North America comes last in destinations they wish to live in.

Personally if I was in their situation I'm not sure I'd want to start my life over in a  new country or hope for things to get better in mine and be able to go back home.

So all this hate propaganda over people who certainly aren't coming to America in boatloads!

First it was south Beirut, then it was Baghdad... and then it was Paris

Most of the people I know in the Western world didn't even notice that Beirut came first. That ISIS claimed responsibility for killing SHIA's in both South Beirut and in Baghdad. ISIS think they are Sunni ... they are desecrating ISLAM and all it stands for! I bet Mohamed {PBUH] is rolling in his grave seeing what these imbeciles are doing in the name of Islam!

It was only when around 100 people died in Paris that ISIS came up on people's radar and infuriated them.

Just because Beirut is bombed on a regular basis by factions, doesn't mean that people should care less. Oh wait. There was no Americans, no white Europeans I guess that were killed in the bombing. I guess that means it doesn't matter. People forget that while Lebanon is in the middle east about half of the country is not Muslim. There are 18 official religions in Lebanon, and that includes many forms of Christianity.

It also pisses me off that now people are comparing ISIS to the billions of peaceful Muslims who would not hurt a fly. How about we say all Christians are like WestBoro baptists.   I'm being nice. Other people are saying... Oh you want to compare all Muslims to ISIS, let's compare all Christians to the Klu Klux Klan!

It's sad, and scary that in 2015, we still have to bomb the fuck out of one another.   Personally I think we should make illegal all arms dealers. Weapons should be made illegal. Companies that make weapons should be criminalized. I'm sure it would be amazing how quickly people learned to get along if they realized they could no longer blast the fuck out of one another.

I re-shared it on Facebook and it upset a friend who's very young son committed suicide in January. I didn't mean to upset her or anyone else on my friends list. I was just appalled by how most of the world just doesn't care.

Many don't want "immigrants" in their countries or cities or neighborhoods. I was thinking about this little boy, who's mom had lovingly dressed him for the crossing in dangerous waters because they hoped for a better life. A life that did not include barrel bombs, ISIS and other atrocities. All these people wanted was for their children to grow up and not see war.

As the mom of two children I've been thinking since my friend lost her child to suicide, how as a mom you get over the loss of a child. To lose 2 children in such horrific conditions. I feel for the children's father.

Saudi Arabia's most powerful women & powerful women in Islam!

I often make fun of KSA because of their backwards attitude towards women. However it does not mean that in KSA there are no powerful women that young women world wide can look up to.

Those ignorant about Islam often think it's the religion that keeps women subjugated. Nothing could be further from the truth. Women are supposed to be equals in Islam but this gets lost in the post colonialism mentally prevalent in the Middle east,  as well as some parts of  Africa today.

A great article about Mohammed's wife Khadijah that I read a few days ago shows how Mohammed in his life time not only married a woman 15 years his elder because he loved her but obviously treated her with a great deal of respect. A month ago there was an article about her on Huff Post about 7 remarkable things about Khadijah. For those who want to bring up his youngest wife, "Aisha", I'd like to point them to this article.

Saudi Historian needs a pole up his.....

Some buffoon Saudi historian claims women drive in other countries, because WE DON'T CARE IF WE GET RAPED. 

I'd love to know where he gained this knowledge? Has he traveled to other countries and raped women and then interview them to know how they felt? If he did, he's a bad Saudi, and a bad Muslim, he shouldn't be looking never mind touching women who he isn't married to or related to.  And if he didn't then WHAT the fuck does  he know about women in other countries?

When he was made fun in the interview, he added that Saudi Arabia should hire foreign women drivers to drive their women?  Really? Because the law in Saudi Arabia differentiates between local women and foreign women?  Last I checked if you are ANY FEMALE caught driving in Saudi Arabia, there will be penalties. I'm guessing if you're a foreigner, you will be fined and deported.

I have to feel sorry for Saudi women stuck with neanderthals like this buffoon.  I have hope that one day our Saudi sisters will be allowed to drive their cars, without the risk of rape....

I mean you'd think if they fear rape so much they would JAIL ALL THE MEN. After all it's MEN who rape women.

While KSA is still the most backwards country in the world, where women still can't drive, he "apparently" tried to slowly bring his country into the 21st century. May he RIP.

A Syrian Story.

I don't blog about Syria anymore, but the Syrian people are still in my heart. It's horrible that it's going on almost 4 years later. It's horrible that the world not only watches by but different countries provide the arms for the different terrorist factions. Make no mistakes the average Syrian wants nothing to do with ISIS or Al-Queda, or  having a muslim state.  The average Syrian just wants a country where his children can grow in peace without fear for having an opinion that is different from it's ruler.
