As it's Friday, there will be large anti-government protests in Syria and today the protests are dedicated to the 7 children who have died in anti-government protests this week.
Hajar Tayser Al Khateb, 10 years old, school bus hit by shell in Homs; Ibrahim Mahmoud Rasho, 12 years old, killed in Moart Shoreen; Marwa Hasan Shakhdo, 4 years old, shot at home in Rastan; Malak Muneer Kadah; Mahmoud Izaldin; two unnamed children of Khadidja Al Kurdi.
A Syrian government website confirms that the internet is cut across the country. This is so they can kill with impunity, and no one can upload video's they took on their cell phone for the world to know what kind of murderers they truly are.

The amnesty touted a few days ago isn't changing all that much, unfortunately. Of the 10, 000 or so people detained in the current wave of protests a trickle of perhaps 100-200 were released after the announcement of the amnesty. It also hasn't stopped the government forces from pummelling some central towns around Homs as they have been for days now, and the number of deaths are mounting fast.
