The bruise from hell

Multiple pictures of the bruise from hell the size of a cantaloupe on my left thigh. It happened when I failed to clear a space I tried passing in going around the 50-100 boxes stacked in my dining room due to the fucking flooding. I can say arnica gel was a god send. It's why it faded in such a strange way.

Water begone

We just went to Lasalle to get a 3" submersible pump. The two small pumps we bought yesterday are NOT cutting it.

My basement is flooded

Water is no longer just flooding Pierrefonds BLVD At 7:30 AM it was all clear, by 8:00AM there was a river in my basement :(

 I won't tell you why I spent the day of April 21 in court these but  it was exceptionally stressful.  Thankfully I have no criminal record and got the best possible outcome. It cost me a day's work, a letter from my therapist, and $200 in fines.

I have a basal cell carcinoma

Had dermatologist appointment today and that spot on my forehead that does not heal - basal cell carcinoma.  Yay.  At least its not a melanoma, and it's curable.

But ironic that the girl who never goes in the fucking sun gets SKIN CANCER!!!

The handicapped dog!

Been seeing this dog being taken for a walk on both Fredmir and Arragon for months now. He always looks like he's smiling while he's going for a walk.

Fuck you grass allergy

This was the swelling after 30 minutes before leaving doctors office. That is grass of course

This was mid afternoon by then it was the size of a loony

3 days later. Still see bump and bruising. It is yellow.

I feel like a colander

After calling from November onwards I finally got appointment with allergist on March 15th. Should have been for aspergillus.  Since last I had allergy tests was when I was 17, the doctor decided to do standard allergy tests. 

The left row is fungii, the middle row was pets and the right row was trees and plants. The only thing I did NOT react do was dogs. I react to animals, dust, mites. all molds, mildly, and all plants. The grass one was so intense that I had reaction all the way up above my elbow.

So I bought two more hotwater bottles, these on Amazon. They are not in rubber but in some form of plastic. The blue one is from Ohuhu. The green one from another vendor. Both were under $15 and they don't stink like the old rubber bottles. Some reviewers say they stay hotter than the rubber, I say it's about the same.

I love having two hot water bottles, one for my tummy and one for my back when Terry works nights at the hospital. Keeps me warm and comfortable. I bought a couple more mostly for camping. In April or October, a hotwater bottle in the sleeping bag 30 minutes before  bedtime can make it far more comfortable.

There's a picture of all the nightshirts I made so far in 2017.  The one in the middle was an attempt at updating a pattern. it was too short, hence why I added extra penguins on the sleeves and at the bottom. However the three to the left, is the updated design, and it is perfect for a short nightshirt. THe two on the right are made with a new pattern I picked up in February. That nightshirt goes almost to my ankles whereas the ones on the left go to my knees.

PJ top for bf

This week-end I sewed 2 items. One top made of a left over and one PJ top for my bf that matches his "Jurassic park" PJ pants and his black flannel PJ pants, as as Valentines day present.

Lovely Rayon knit from Club Tissu

I asked for Christmas a trip to club tissu in St Hubert. Terry brought me there and while we were there he really liked this Leopard rayon knit. So I bought 2 meters. I ended up making both a dress and a top to wear with skinny jeans with the fabric this week-end based on his suggestions on what to do with the fabric.
