2017 is a flannel year!

Modified a pajama top into a nightshirt. Needed adjustments. Hence the penguin border
Made a Large PJ top for my BF. Pattern only went to Medium.
Green Flamingos. How cute is that?
Fell in love with long flannel nightshirts, so have been experimenting with making them. The green flamingo one is absolutely perfect in everyway. I use a meshing of 2 butterick patterns to make it. One from 2 years ago and one from 20 years.

Nightshirt

I made myself a long night shirt in flannel. It's really a shirt with buttons that goes almost to my knees and it is so comfy.

Pajama pants

Over the past few months I've made 4 pairs of pajama pants for Terry. There are two pairs camouflage skulls, one pair of black flannels and the last pair is black & white bones, which is the pair his daughter calls his Jurassic park pants.

Pyjama pants

Pattern I used.
For the first time in years I sewed for myself. I bought the pattern before my surgery over 10 years ago to make myself pants to wear around the house after surgery.  I bought the end of a roll of fabric on Thursday and it was 2 pieces, one of  80cm and the other of 30 cm. She sold it to me as 1m, and total with taxes it came to $6.

Meow pants
I knew it would make for short pants, but the pattern I picked up had pants with cuffs, and the pair I made goes to my ankles with the cuffs, which is fine for camping. You don't want long pants when the ground is dirty or wet :)
