Everything is spammed

You can't install or update anything without paying attention otherwise you end up with software you don't want.

For instance, if you update Java, you end up with some crappy McAfee product, if you update Flash you ended up with Google Drive and if you update Bittorrent, you end up with that Corel Winzip Updater.  Makes you wonder if this software was that awesome would it have to be bundled with things people actually use?

Personally when I see software bundled with other software automatically, I think the bundled software is low quality and generally garbage. If it was really awesome would anyone give it to you for free?

Finished is the day of installing anything by pressing next next next, without reading. :(

Winzip driver updater = SPAM

I generally liked Corel and it's applications but I'm really NOT impressed with Winzip Driver updater. This piece of garbage installs itself without asking, and I suspect it came along with BitTorrent because the only 2 locations I've ever seen it has been on my systems with BIT TORRENT. 

And when you uninstall it, the damn software has the gall of asking why I'm uninstalling and it doesn't have the choice to answer "because it was an invasive piece of spam that installed itself without me asking".  Seriously, if you have respectable software you don't need to install yourself via  a back door. 

I have little respect for software that installs itself in a sneaky way like most annoying tool bars. I don't need 200 fucking tool bars on my damn browser.  It's laggy enough as is to browse with Firefox [which is a memory hog] then to have to deal with extra tool  bars.

Let me tell you either way, the Winzip Driver updater was removed as fast as I could find it's uninstall.  I have no INTEREST in trying out junk that installs itself like a virus. You want to be a respectable software, only install yourself on PC's who's owners have requested you.

What's up with the bogus or spammy hits?

The past two days I've been getting spammed on my blog. Or at least I get randomly enormous amounts of blog hits and it makes little sense to me. What would be the reason to hit the blog 70 times in a row in the space of 1 minute?

Variants of websites with the following text are the ones that have given me over 200 hits in the past 2 days. I don't know what to make of it.

I check statistics because I'm OCD. I want to know what demographics reads me. I mean other then one daughter, hubby, his mother and a few friends. :) I don't even have ads. So I'm not sure why I'm being spammed by them?!?
