Blog seems to debunk more about Gay girl in Damascus then anyone else

The Electronic Intifada blog has found more leads on Amina then anyone else. It seems to tie her to a couple who lived in Georgia, USA, and moved to Edinburg Scotland.  I'm not sure how to interpret the data. Does an "Amina" exist who's hiding under this couple or is it the wife, who has been blogging as Amina? The plot thickens.
