Toby: Our little hunter

Robin?
Feathers EVERYWHERE
So while Terry was at work, and I was in my room sewing and Zoey was in her room sleeping, one of the cats left a bird as a gift for us. I'm assuming it's Toby.  There was feathers EVERYWHERE.

My Vans vs Zoey's Vans!

I wear women's 5.5 and she wears women's 12.5.  She's going to be tall! I ordered her Vans just before vacation online. Good thing I did, they have none left now of her size.

Day 14: We leave Murray Beach and drive home to Montreal

So the day before we did wander away from Murray Beach to find food. We found  Route 16 Diner,  and the food was pretty good, though I wasn't able to eat everything. We spent a few hours on the beach. I didn't find much beach glass but it was good quality for the one I found. I ran into a woman on the beach who told me she was disappointed, because Murray Beach is her goto beach for seaglass and there was slim pickings that day.

We did leave Murray Beach around 9AM and had breakfast in Moncton area at Jean's Family Restaurant.  They even had gluten free bread. Service was excellent.

We continued driving and saw some pretty intense accidents on the way that backed up traffic all the way past Quebec City. We finally got to Montreal at dusk around 8pm

Day 13: We drive to Murray Beach Provincial Park, and visit Amherst Shores Provincial Park

View from our room at the Four Points

I didn't sleep much at the four points. I woke up around 6ish and met Sam alone at CFB Halifax.  Sam wanted to tour me her ship.  So I met her in the dockyard, in the parking lot.  When we attempted to go in, the guy wouldn't allow my car in. So we parked it at the 30 minute parking for getting your pass cards, and she took me to the Glace Bay.

Sam showed me around the ship and introduced me to dozens of people. I got to shake hands with a few people.  Also got to see her room and where she works.

Went back to Four points and Terry had woken up. We packed and left towards Truro and of course Google Maps could not find Atlantic Fabrics in Truro. I called to make sure they were still there. The two top fabrics in photo are mine, left flannel, right dragonfly batik print. Bottom left is a dog flannel print and right is an African cotton print bought as gift for a friend.

There was no spots at Parlee Beach but plenty at Murray Beach Provincial Park.  We stopped at Amherst shores Provincial Park and it's probably one of the least nice Nova Scotia Parks. We weren't' impressed and didn't want to stay there. The beach was mostly rocks
