November 5th... day of doom ?

Rumours have been circulating that November 5th, Saturday is the day that Anonymous hacks Facebook. On the one side, I've been a anonymous supporter of Anonymous. On the other side, Facebook has also become a revolution tool. 

For instance the majority of the news I get on Syria is usually on Facebook. I get all the links to the current news and video's there. If Facebook is really taken down, they would be doing more harm to the revolutions in Syria, Yemen, Bahrain and also to the Occupy Movement, which also uses Facebook to advertise events. 

Sure all those movements also use Twitter [one local Montreal activist is anti-twitter - points to the name TWIT!!!],  Livestreams and other means of communication , but Facebook is a big help.

Keeping that in mind I tend to think Anonymous may hack somewhere else rather then Facebook, seeing that they support the various revolutions I've listed above. 

Edit 06-11-11: This article says the Group Anonymous never planned on hacking Facebook, that it was a threat by a rogue member. That they use Facebook  as a communication tool as well.
