Minute of Silence June 8th, 2011 at 11am

For all our brothers and sisters who have fallen in Syria, marching so they can live free. Including Hamza Alkhateeb, the 13 year old Syrian boy from Saida, small town near Deraa, who was brutally tortured, and who has become one of the symbols of the uprising in Syria.

  1. Torturing kids is a pretty legit way to govern a country. I'm surprised the UN hasn't interfered yet. Or perhaps there aren't enough useful natural resources in Syria for them to exploit.
